Worker Cooperatives and Collectives are enterprises democratically controlled by their members. Structured in many different ways they are united by the principle of member control based on the co-op principle of “one member, one vote." Some adopt a consensus decision-making structure.

BioFuel Oasis
Sells high quality commercial biodiesel that meets ASTM standards (and is usually made from recycled vegetable oil). Our new location is at a charming old gas station at the corner of Ashby & Sacramento in Berkeley. It has pull-through access, is at a prominent intersection, and is close to the I-80 corridor. Four cars can fill up at once at two different pumps. Our pumps are available from 7am – 8pm daily through an automated cardlock system that accepts credit cards.
